Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Willamette University, where she studied Art, English Literature, and Math. She spent eight years as a professional nanny, caring for children from infancy through age 13. She homeschooled her own two children for 2nd and 5th grades. She has been tutoring students since 2022 in subjects including K-8 math and language arts; SAT, ACT, & CLT Prep; Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry & Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, and Calculus; Digital Art, Color Theory, and Drawing. She is passionate about transforming intimidating subjects into engaging, approachable lessons that help students build confidence and connect meaningfully with challenging material.
